I'm a writer, editor, and cultural producer in Detroit with a background in libraries. I'm passionate about using my creative and technical skills to connect, inform, and inspire the communities I'm part of.

 

I'm the editor-in-chief at Essay'd, where we publish short essays about Detroit artists. My writing has been featured in Curbed, Detroit Research, Infinite Mile, KnightArts, Model D, and the second edition of Thanks For the View, Mr. Mies.

 

In addition to my creative work, I'm proud to help lead communications and operations for Greenseeds, a family of sustainable small businesses in the Cass Corridor. I'm also a notary public, an avid reader, and an enthusiastic bike commuter.

I earned degrees from Wayne State University in English, Film Studies, and Library and Information Science.
