About

I'm a writer, editor, and curator in Detroit with a background in libraries. I'm passionate about using my creative and technical skills to connect, inform, and inspire the communities I'm part of.

I'm the editor-in-chief at Essay'd, where we publish short, illustrated essays about contemporary Detroit artists. My writing work has been featured in CurbedDetroit ResearchInfinite MileKnightArtsModel D, and the second edition of Thanks For the View, Mr. Mies.

Outside of my freelance work, I'm proud to lead communications for Green Seeds, a family of sustainable small businesses in the Cass Corridor. I'm also a notary public, an avid reader, and an enthusiastic bike commuter.

I graduated from Wayne State University with degrees in English and Film Studies and Library and Information Science.
